A short film featuring Jim Unwin; written by Scott Virtes, directed by Jorge Lopez. Running time 10 minutes, DVD extras about 5 minutes.
STATUS: filmed in August 2003; Jorge's rough cut done (Jan 2004); ScottV's final cut done (April 2004), approved for release Dec 2004! TRAILER available.

    "The Siberians"

    STATUS: this one involved building a log cabin in Scott V's garage. It should be over-the-top fun! Filming completed. Final cut completed. Released Dec 2005. Nov 2006: Now available on YouTube.

    "Vincent" (a.k.a. "The Crawl")

    A half hour crime drama featuring Jim Unwin, Scott Langston, Alveraz Ricardez; written/produced/directed by Scott Virtes; director of photography: Robert Lacher.
    STATUS: Filmed June-July 2005, 1st rough cut (Dec 2005), 2nd rough cut & name change (Apr 2006), final cut (July 2006), DVD extras (August 2006), ready for release (Nov 2006). Final run time about 17:30.


    "Just Relax!"

    A short skit about a relaxation class gone wrong, written by Scott V. Featuring Debbie Langston, Jim Unwin, Scott Langston. Filmed in June 2004. Now being edited. UNRELEASED


    "Ms. North"

    A short light comedy written by Scott V. Featuring Deborah & Scott Langston. In post-production.
    STATUS: day one of filming (location 1) was Jan 19, 2004. Day 2 (location 2) was Feb 29. Day 3 (location 2, reshoot) was March 13. All done, except for one missing line (grr!). Rough cut is in the works!

  • Other Member Projects

    These are some projects our group members have finished recently:

    "Voice of the Dead"

    Scott Virtes wrote a half-hour horror script for PhillipsFilms. "Voice of the Dead" was filmed in Missouri in December 2003 and is now available on DVD.

    "Master and Commander"

    Scott Langston and Scott Virtes were both core sailing crew on Russell Crowe's ship in "Master and Commander", directed by Peter Weir, released November 14, 2003. Now everyone can watch Scott V die of a horrible neck wound!

    "Into the Dead Room"

    Scott Virtes was writer and script supervisor for "Into the Dead Room", a half-hour local film student production. Now available on DVD.

    Illustrations

    Scott Langston has finished a few illustrated children's books, and is scouting them around.
